2 Days Ho Chi Minh City - CanTho - Mekong Delta Tour
Day 2: Can Tho / My Tho / Ho Chi Minh City
Day 1 HO CHI MINH CITY / CAI BE / VINH LONG / CAN THO
In the morning, depart Ho Chi Minh City and drive to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival, board a sampan for a trip on the Mekong River and its myriad canals to Vinh Long. Visit an old colonial house, a rice popcorn factory and taste local delicacies for lunch. In the afternoon, continue the journey to Can Tho, the largest town in the Mekong Delta. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 2 CAN THO / MY THO / HO CHI MINH CITY
After breakfast, board a sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market and a fruit garden (Ba Cong) and then ride on a “xe loi” (motor cyclo) from Chap Phap Bridge to Binh Thuy Ancient House dating back over 100 years. Observe the delta’s rural life and enjoy the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks. Discover Can Tho’s market and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City late in the afternoon.
